First, measurement the height of the hot water baseboard. The maximum height for a standard Baseboard Protector is 8 inches. If the height of your hot water baseboard exceeds 8 inches, please contact us to help you with a custom size. |
Next, measure the width of your hot water baseboard. The maximum width for a standard Baseboard Protector is 4 inches. If your hot water baseboard is wider than 4 inches, please contact us so we can help you with a custom size.

There are only 3 possible ways that your hot water baseboard is mounted:
A) - The hot water baseboard is mounted in one corner of a wall and continues straight across to the opposite corner. To measure for this 'wall to wall' mounting, simply measure the entire length of baseboard from end to end.
B) - If your hot water baseboard is only mounted in the middle of a wall, measure the length of the hot water baseboard from end to end.
 | C) - When your hot water baseboard begins on a wall and continues around a corner to a perpendicular wall, use this method to get the correct lengths.
You will need to take two separate measurements:
First on the left side starting from the corner, (where the 2 perpendicular walls join together), measure outward to the end of the hot water baseboard.
Then measure the perpendicular wall in the same manner. The measurement must be taken from the center of the corner where the two left and right side baseboards join.
*IMPORTANT - these two measurements must not be added together since when a hot water baseboard connects with 2 perpendicular walls, the walls will be counted as 2 separate sections of baseboard.
